I went for a 4-5mile walk today. I really wish I would have remembered my pedometer to know exactly how far I went.
So let's discuss activity. I'm not going to lie, I'm horrible at getting it in. I'm great with the eating portion of this lifestyle change, but for some reason I can't get my butt moving.
Now I do get more in than I ever have before, but it happens in spurts. I'll have a super good week and get my 30+ mins several times a week. And other weeks I don't do anything.
My favorite activity is walking. Its the easiest thing to do and it requires no equipment. Just a pair of shoes! I started with walking as my main activity and its still very much a staple.
Another thing I do is the Wii Fit. Now it looks like a big game, but you can really get a workout from it! The yoga is great and so is the boxing. There really isn't an activity on there I don't like. I even do the running. Lol
And when its crappy outside and I don't feel like the wii fit, I loooove my workout dvds. I have several of Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds dvds. I love her! My favorite dvd is her 5day fit walk. Its 5 different workouts on one dvd. And all you need are shoes and light weights.
Now that its starting to get colder I'm looking to invest in a gym membership. I can't let the cold weather be an excuse not to workout. I'll keep you all informed!
Well, I'm off to go do some wall push ups. I'm too weak for the regular kind! Lol
